Director James Cameron is the first to have dived to the deepest point in the world inside his 12 ton green submarine called Deepsea Challenger. The 35.756 feet deep Marianas Trench (north of Papua New Guinea and southwest of Guam, Micronesia) was reached after 2 hours and 36 minutes. Cameron stayed on the ocean floor for about three hours and shot plenty of video material for National Geography. What he saw is still a mistery but jellyfish and single-celled creatures are likely.
